The name Truntum is inspired by the Truntum motif a Javanese batik in the form of a flower petals pattern symbolizing love grows back, a symbol of love that is sincere, unconditional, eternal, and increases over time.

Established in 2015, Warung Senggol is Truntum Kuta’s way of bringing the warmth, flavors, and character of Indonesian cuisine closer to our guests and the local community. Located just beside the hotel entrance, the restaurant welcomes both hotel guests and the public to discover a taste of Indonesia in a relaxed and lively setting.

The name “Senggol” comes from the Indonesian word senggol, meaning “a gentle bump” or “a brush,” reflecting the lively, spontaneous interactions often found in traditional local food stalls and markets. Just like a friendly encounter that catches your attention, Warung Senggol was created to be a place that invites you to stop, explore, and enjoy.

Inspired by the charm of traditional Indonesian warungs, our food stalls bring a touch of local character to the hotel. With food prepared and presented in an open, inviting setting, guests can experience the sights, aromas, and flavors that make Indonesian street food so memorable.
